Beautiful stories are often born in difficult times. Such as the interminable storm that prevents the children of the town of Heurtebise from going to school or meeting their friends. Léna is a mischievous little girl who takes advantage of a lull in the storm to take her cat in her arms and set off to discover an abandoned theatre at the end of the street. There she encounters the instruments of the Orchestra, imaginary characters in this story where the child is guided by melodies and the voice of actress Julie Gayet.
It was the pandemic lockdown that inspired Carl Norac to write this story for children and adults observing the world from behind their windows. A dreamer and roving poet, he is the author of over a hundred children's books translated into fifty languages. In Léna and the Enchanted Orchestra, he ventures into the realm of musical storytelling for the first time with Mathieu Lamboley.
